John Hunt

Co-Founder

John Hunt is the founder and CEO of CompuVision and Vision Communications. He has over 28 years of consulting experience in the design, implementation and the ongoing management of Information Technology solutions.

John founded and successfully managed several technology firms, including The Computer Doctor, which was one of the largest IT firms in Central California. Clients include financial, manufacturing, legal, healthcare, education, non-profit and government entities.

John currently lectures on cybersecurity topics and was recently published in the Pacific Coast Business Times on basic cybersecurity needs for individuals and businesses. In 2015, he and CompuVision were chosen as the winner of the 13th Annual Spirit of Small Business for Award for Southern Santa Barbara County.

John has served as an entrepreneurial consultant to the Technology Management Program, College of Engineering, UCSB and currently serves on multiple local non-profit boards as a technology consultant.

Mike Ames

Co-Founder

Mike Ames has 17 years of experience in computer hardware, software and network engineering. He is the President and founder of Ames Tower Group, LLC. For the past 13 years, he has worked for California's Public Safety Communication Division as a VHF Technician.

Mike also trains the state's elite incident management response team. As a Senior Microwave Technician, he has expertise in microwave RF network backhaul engineering and digital trunking.

Mike has built communications facilities used by public safety dispatch centers and remote relay stations throughout the state of California.

Mike's multiple certifications and years of experience, allow him to provide superior consulting for a wide array of communications needs in both the public and private sector.

Mel Beckman

Co-Founder

Mel Beckman has over 30 years of experience, specializing in application system design, computer and network security, data center infrastructure, operating systems architecture and internals, programming languages, and local- and wide-area networking. He has built two regional Internet service providers

Beckman Software Engineering (BSE), for which Mel serves as Principal Engineer, is a technical consultancy specializing in implementation of large-scale, resilient networks supporting complex multi-user applications. BSE assembles multi-discipline engineering teams to deliver complex IT infrastructure, bringing subject matter experts together with project engineers to provide start-to-finish planning, implementation, and ongoing support.

Mel is also a senior technical editor for System iNEWS. He is widely published in the Information Technology literature and speaks frequently on technical topics ranging from operating system internals to Internet security and performance. Mel has presented seminars on computer programming and network technology throughout the United States, Europe, and Asia.

Leigh Ann Fulkerson

Director of Business Development

Leigh Ann has 20 years of experience in sales, marketing, administration, project management and business development. Over the years, she has impacted the growth of numerous small businesses, new higher education degree programs, and several start-ups.

She brings her unique experience in the location, acquisition and sales of niche market real estate including decommissioned government property such as missile bases, telecom vaults and towers.

Leigh Ann is focused on accelerating our growth by nurturing long term, strategic partnerships and leading our sales and marketing strategies.
